Q. Which exercise do you feel really helps you manage symptoms?
A. Walk! Walk to the mailbox, the park, take the stairs. Just do it regularly. Schedule walks (or any activity) as your would an actual appointment. I was 32 when I was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s, and fitness (especially walking my dog) has always kept me mobile and improved my mood.
