Did you know the National Parkinson’s Foundation (NPF) has a whole set of resources in Spanish for people living with PD? As we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re highlighting resources that might be helpful for you and your family, including resources in Spanish.
The NPF has a website in Spanish dedicated to helping the Hispanic community, including a bilingual Helpline (1-800-4PD-INFO), where patients can get their questions answered in Spanish and English.
Other resources include a translated brochure about the early warning signs of PD; an anonymous online forum moderated by Dr. Ramón Rodríguez, a Spanish-speaking doctor; and a library that offers links to various articles, books and videos.
Check out the site and share it during Hispanic Heritage Month.
